Physicality is at the core of everything I do. That's why I am so excited about this LIVE.
My movement coach, Jean-Louis Rodrigue is with me to talk about how physicality plays such an important role in capturing the attention of your audience when you're speaking or presenting.
In this new world of Zoom calls and training online, HOW you connect with the camera is SO important.
Getting used to the piece of machinery in front of you isn't easy. On stage, you have the audience to play off of. You have their face, their energy. They are your connective tissue.
With a camera, you are creating the energy of the audience. As I am speaking into the lens, I CREATE the energy on the other side of the lens.
I'm doing double the work BUT the results are worth it.
At the end of a day of camera work, I am exhausted.
I get it, a lot of us don't like performing to a camera. It's so important to make friends with the camera.
I want to hear from you in the comments. How are you doing in front of the camera? Are you comfortable with it?
