I filmed this video when I was on my way to speak in front of 15,000 people and—guess what?—I had butterflies. I was nervous.
So I get it when people ask me how to get rid of the nervousness and the anxiety they feel before performing.
But as I'll discuss with my good friend, Olympic gold medalist Leroy Dixon, the answer isn't to fight these feelings or wish them away. Instead, there's a much smarter way to interact with these feelings, one that will give you more energy and more raw power.
