Our community has experienced a lot in the last few weeks—the Borderline tragedy, then the Woolsey fires.
Through it all I am grateful for my family, and the tremendous heroes who put their lives on the line every day to protect us.
Which is exactly why Dawn and I grabbed the kids and made an impromptu visit to Fire Station 37, so we could bring a treat, and just say two words: Thank you.
To you and yours this Thanksgiving, I wish you a season of gratitude.
