Every summer I talk to thousands of high school students who want to become doctors, scientists and technologists. They don’t just want to go into those professions—they want to lead them. I share why mastering the expression of their personal story is crucial to achieving greatness in every part of life. You’ll hear some of my personal story, as well as my three critical steps to storytelling.

As I weave in and out of my own story, I remind them why being the best is not only their responsibility, it's their birthright. They’re already the best, but they’ve got to know how to fulfill on that for the rest of their lives.

To do that, I show them how to:

• Share their personal story in a way that is universal and will connect to anyone, and everyone, they come into contact with forever.
• Build the communications muscles needed to physicalize how they express themselves, and lead others their age to do the same.
• Give all of themselves all of the time to every position they play in life—student, sibling, son or daughter, teammate and more.

Keep watching until the end to see a very special guest take the stage with me.

After it’s over, leave me a comment or head over to my Facebook page, like it and tell me if this sparked a new kind of conversation with your kids.
